To obtain a method for producing a texture imparting desired hardness and flame retardance without treatment or the like of a texture for a roller blind, a pleat blind, a vertical blind, or the like with a flame retardant resin for hard finish.
In a knitted texture using a plurality of base reeds, when knitting a blind type texture with a warp yarn A used for a reed to be chain-stitch knitted and a knitting yarn B used for a reed to be insertion knitted, a similar knitting yarn B', or the like, a synthetic yarn, made by twisting a yarn being a mother yarn of separated monofilaments and constituted of maximum 15 monofilaments having not less than 10 and not more than 50 denier monofilament size with a flame retardant yarn, or mutually entangling both the yarns by blowing pressurized air, is brought to be a knitting yarn C used for the base reeds for insertion knitting, which is laterally engaged with passing through chain stitches of the warp yarn A for the chain stitches or entwined to the chain-stitches in the vertical direction, or with using the both yarns, to knit A, B, B', and the like, for increasing the hardness of the texture or imparting flame retardance, as means to provide a method for producing the blind type texture.
