Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing calcia-modified soil, enabling calcia-modified soil having desired uniaxial compressive strength to be more surely produced.SOLUTION: A correlation between a water calcia ratio Xa and uniaxial compressive strength qu of calcia-modified soil P is prerecognized, when the water calcia ratio Xa denotes a mass ratio of a water content included in the calcia-modified soil P to a calcia modifying material C. An allowable range of the water calcia ratio Xa required to obtain the desired uniaxial compressive strength qu is determined on the basis of the correlation and the uniaxial compressive strength qu desired for the calcia-modified soil P to be produced. Then the calcia-modified soil Pis produced by controlling an on-site water calcia ratio Xb to fall within the allowable range of the determined water calcia ratio Xa when the on-site water calcia ratio Xb denotes a mass ratio of a water content included in dredged soil S to be mixed and in the calcia modifying material C to the calcia modifying material C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
