Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a carbon-containing non-calcined pellet for a blast furnace that can improve yielding by suppressing a binder from burying in the pores formed in fine powdery coke and by improving the intensity after the pellet is cured.

The method produces a carbon-containing non-calcined pellet for a blast furnace using raw materials containing fine powdery iron and fine powdery coke as raw materials; the amount of carbon content is 15 mass% or more and 25 mass% or less; the amount of high early-strength cement mixed is 5 mass% or more and 15 mass% or less. After the fine powdery iron containing raw materials are mixed with fine powdery coke, the mixture is added with the high early-strength cement, and further added, kneaded and granulated with water.
