Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a carbonaceous material-polymer composite material capable of grafting easily a polymer having a functional group to a carbonaceous material.

This method includes steps for: obtaining a mixture by mixing a carbonaceous material with at least one kind selected from a group comprising (1) a mixture of a depolymerizable monomer and a monomer having a functional group, (2) a functional group-containing polymer formed by polymerizing the mixture, (3) a functional group-containing depolymerizable polymer decomposable by being heated to generate radicals and produce monomers or oligomers, (4) a functional group-containing monomer used as a polymerization unit for the functional group-containing polymer (3); and settling the mixture in a non-open container and heating it up to a decomposition start temperature of the polymer or higher.
