Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a gel prepared by using a carboxymethylcellulose alkali salt as a raw material which is highly safe to the environment and humans, able to be inexpensively produced by a simple apparatus, and therefore, able to be used at ease in foods, pharmaceuticals and the like.
The gels are produced by using the carboxymethylcellulose alkali salt (CMC) as a raw material by adding an acid or an aqueous acid solution approved in fields such as foods, pharmaceuticals and the like, respectively, to the CMC derived from natural pulp as a raw material and highly safe, and mixing and kneading the mixture to be a pasty state, subsequently soaking the pasty CMC in the acid or the aqueous acid solution.
