Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: cefquinome acid addition salt particles that have physical stability; and suspensions of cefquinome acid addition salt that are more stable, preferably cefquinome sulfate particles.SOLUTION: An acid, preferably sulfuric acid, is added quickly in a single shot, in a molar excess of 40% to less than 100%. As a result, particles are formed that comprise agglomerates of microscale primary crystalline particles. Consequently, provided are particles of cefquinome acid addition salt, preferably cefquinome sulfate shown in the following formula, in particle sizes commensurate with micronized material, but with improved stability.SELECTED DRAWING: None
