Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a cellulosic hard-to-dye fiber that can prepare a melange-tone fiber fabric without water repellent treatment.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a method for producing a cellulosic hard-to-dye fiber includes: a graft step in which a cellulosic fiber is grafted with a carboxyl group-containing compound with an ethylenic unsaturated double bond, to introduce the carboxyl group; and a dehydration condensation step for subjecting the carboxyl group-introduced cellulosic fiber to dehydration and condensation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
