Abstract:
To provide a method and equipment for producing a cigarette box with a hinge lid.
The folding tabs of an outer packaging material is connected to each other by wholly heat-sealing a surface area, and as a result, a shrink packaging process is started. In order to guarantee the accurate shape of the outer packaging material, the folding tabs are connected to each other in a seal surface area narrowly confined by a temporary seal before heat-sealing the whole surface area. After this, the whole surface area is heat-sealed.
