PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a composite material containing a polymer and a metal particle in a short time by a simple process.SOLUTION: A method of producing a composite material containing a polymer and a metal particle according to the invention comprises a first step that forms a film from a material containing a polymer, a metallic compound, and a solvent, and a second step that irradiates the film with a laser with a middle-infrared wavelength or a far-infrared wavelength.SELECTED DRAWING: None
