Abstract:
To provide a method for easily and industrially producing an oxide catalyst suitable for use in a fluidized bed and having a high AN yield.
In the method in which a solution or slurry containing stock compounds of Mo, V, Nb, an element X and an element Y and, optionally, an element Z is spray-dried and fired to produce the objective composite metal oxide catalyst represented by the formula MOaVbNbcXdYfZeOn, when the slurry is prepared, a water-insoluble solid having ≥0.1 μm average particle diameter is used as the stock compound of the element Y.
