Abstract:
To provide a production method capable of obtaining higher joining strength though, at the time of producing a composite sintered machine part by inserting a green compact into steel and performing sintering, heretofore, they have been integrally joined by utilizing the copper expanding action of the green compact.
In this production method, the quantity of copper in the green compact is made into the large one of 10 to 25 mass%, sintering is performed at ≥1,095°C to generate a large quantity of liquid phases, and, owing to the synergistic effect of the same action and copper expanding action, its joining strength is improved. It is further effective that a part of copper is replaced with a Cu-P based brazing filler metal.
