Abstract:
To obtain a composition usable as a humectant, a bathing agent, a detergent and an adsorbent for formaldehyde.
The objective composition usable as a humectant, a bathing agent, a detergent and an adsorbent can be produced by adding and mixing an alcohol and water to an acrylic acid compound, irradiating the obtained mixture with radiation to obtain a polymer-containing emulsion and adding urea, glucose, glycerol and/or glycine, or the like, to the emulsion. The adsorbing material is produced by impregnating the liquid composition.
