To provide a method for producing a concentrated composition for a reduced beverage, which sufficiently contains calcium that is a nutrient essential to bodies, but is little turbid, is excellent in precipitation stability, and is good in flavor, when processed into a reduced beverage.
This method for producing the concentrated composition which is used for the reduced beverage, contains calcium in an amount of 0.01 mass%, and has a turbidity of 50 NTU includes the following processes in the order of the following (1) to (3). (1) A process for dissolving an acidifier (A) in water. (2) A process for dissolving a calcium compound (B) in the aqueous solution obtained in the process (1) to adjust the pH of the solution to 2.0 to 5.0. (3) A process for charging an aqueous solution (C) containing sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate and/or potassium carbonate, and the concentrated product and/or purified product (D) of a tea extract, and/or a carbohydrate (E) to the aqueous solution obtained in the process (2).
