Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a cyclic disulfone compound, in which the high-purity cyclic disulfone compound can be obtained in a short time and in high yield by a simple operation.

The method for producing the cyclic disulfone compound shown by formula (II) comprises a step of reacting a cyclic disulfide compound shown by formula (I) with oxygenated water in the presence of tungstate to oxidize the cyclic disulfide compound.
