To provide a method for producing a cyclic fluorine-containing enamine compound having a carbonyl group by which the fluorine-containing enamine compound useful as an intermediate for medicines and agrochemicals and a raw material monomer for fluorine-containing polymers can simply be produced under mild conditions.
The cyclic fluorine-containing enamine compound represented by formula [3] [wherein, n is 1-3; R1 and R2 are each independently a 1-10C alkyl group, a 2-10C alkenyl group or a 6-10C aryl group; or R1 and R2 form a cyclic structure connected with a (CH2)m, a (CH2)pNH(CH2)q or a (CH2)rO(CH2)s (wherein, m is 2-8; and p, q, r and s are each independently 1-8)] is produced as follows. A cyclic fluorine-containing compound represented by formula [1] is reacted with a secondary amine to provide a cyclic fluorine-containing enamine compound represented by formula [2]. (a) The resultant cyclic fluorine-containing enamine compound represented by formula [2] is then hydrolyzed in the presence of an alkali or (b) an acid halide is added thereto and water is further added.
