Abstract:
To provide a method with which it is possible to economically produce, in a short amount of time and with good efficiency, an industrially useful cyclic polyphenylene ether ether ketone composition.
A cyclic polyphenylene ether ether ketone composition is obtained at high yields, by heating and reacting of a mixture at least including a dihalogenated aromatic ketone compound, a dihydroxy aromatic compound, a base, and an organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 27.5 or more and 31 or less.
