Abstract:

To industrially advantageously produce an (meth)acrylic acid ester having a lactone skeleton, scarcely containing impurities, and having high quality in a good yield.

A method for producing the lactone skeleton-containing (meth)acrylic acid ester comprises reacting a lactone skeleton-containing alcohol with (meth)acrylic acid or an reactive derivative thereof and crystallizing the obtained reaction product by using a mixed solvent of an ester and an ether.
