Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in a production method of a dehydration polycondensation polymer comprising a step of subjecting a prepolymer to dehydration polycondensation in an extruder having (a) vent portion(s), a production method having good production efficiency while suppressing vent-up.SOLUTION: The method for producing a dehydration polycondensation polymer comprises a step of subjecting a prepolymer to dehydration polycondensation in an extruder having (a) vent portion(s), where R as defined by the following formula (1) is set at 2.50 or more and 4.50 or less. R=S+1.5×V1/V0 (1), where V0: an effective space volume [cm] of an extruder, V1: a total volume [cm] of a prepolymer, a polymer, and water vapor contained therein inside the extruder, and S: a distilling rate per unit area [mg/(cm×sec)] of condensed water from a fore vent portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
