Abstract:
To provide a method of producing a deuterated organic compound excellent in the deuterium conversion rate, and in particular a method of producing a deuterated organic compound excellent in the deuterium conversion rate in which the solubility of the organic compound is enhanced by using an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent having 7 or more carbon atoms.SOLUTION: A method of producing a deuterated organic compound comprises (1) mixing an organic compound, an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent having 7 or more carbon atoms, a metal catalyst, and a deuterium source, and (2) heating and thus reacting the mixture after the step (1).SELECTED DRAWING: None
