To provide dissolving pulp, using a lignocellulose material as a raw material, with no pitch trouble during production of the dissolving pulp by a pre-hydrolysis/Kraft cooking method using a continuous digester, a good digestion efficiency and a good quality.
The method for producing dissolving pulp from a lignocellulose material includes at least five processes: 1) a process for immersing a lignocellulose material into water and dewatering a part of the water to which the lignocellulose material is immersed to remove impurity and adjusting the water content of the lignocellulose material; 2) the process for heating the lignocellulose material in a water containing state to 100°C or higher to perform a pre-hydrolysis treatment; 3) a process after the pre-hydrolysis treatment for dewatering and dividing the material into a lignocellulose material after the treatment and waste gas and waste liquid; 4) a process for alkali digestion of the lignocellulose material after the pre-hydrolysis treatment using a continuous digester; and 5) a process for cleaning after the alkali digestion and further performing a bleach treatment.
