Abstract:

To provide a method for producing dissolving pulp from a lignocellulose material in which pulp is adjusted to have a desired viscosity and a desired ash content in a one-stage treatment after a bleaching step at the end.

The dissolving pulp is produced from a lignocellulose material as a raw material by a prehydrolysis-alkali digestion method. In the method for producing dissolving pulp, pulp is bleached after the prehydrolysis-alkali digestion and then treated by adding a peroxide under an acidic condition. It is preferable that pulp is bleached to 85-92% ISO before it is treated by adding a peroxide under an acidic condition.
