Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING DRINKING WATER CONTAINING LOW NUTRITIONAL MICROORGANISM AND MEDIUM FOR DETECTING LOW NUTRITIONAL MICROORGANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3436904
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce natural water containing a microorganism having the possibility of being utilized is human health as drinking water containing a low nutritional microorganism and to obtain a medium for detecting the low nutritional microorganism, capable of surely selecting the drinking water.
SOLUTION: This method for producing drinking water containing the low nutritional microorganism comprises filtering collected underground water thorough a screen filter having 0.2-0.45 μm pore diameter, culturing a part of the filtered water at 30°c for ≥5 days and selecting the filtered water in which 1×102 to 9×403 colonies based on 1 ml of the filtered water are formed in the medium for detecting the low nutritional microorganism in water and no colony is formed in a common medium for detecting a bacterium as the drinking water containing the low nutritional microorganism. The medium for detecting the low nutritional microorganism in water is obtained by adding 2-200 mg of sodium p-oxybenzoate, 0.5-50 mg of magnesium sulfate, 0.5-50 mg of monopotassium phosphate, 0.5-50 mg of dipotassium phosphate and 1-100 mg of ammonium nitrate to 1 liter of 1.5-2% agar medium and adjusting the medium to pH 7.2.
