To provide a method for producing a durable antistatic water-repelling fabric, by which the synthetic fiber fabric having a soft touch, durable water resistance, good antistatic performance and good water-repelling property can stably be obtained.
This method for producing a durable antistatic water-repelling fabric comprises treating a fabric with an acid to adjust the pH value of the extract liquid to 4 to 7, imparting a polymer having a radically polymerizable group at at least one terminal of a main chain consisting mainly of a polyalkylene oxide or on a side chain, radically polymerizing the polymer to form the hydrophilic coating film, dyeing the product, and then forming a water-repelling coating film comprising a copolymer of a perfluoroalkyl group-containing acrylate or methacrylate with a copolymerizable compound on the outermost layer of the dyed product.
