Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing an electromagnetic wave absorbing particle excellent in crush strength, and an electromagnetic wave absorbing particle and an electromagnetic wave absorbing body which are produced by the method.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave absorbing particle 1 comprising an inorganic particle 2 and a conductive filler 4 is formed by means of: mixing an inorganic particle slurry containing the inorganic particle 2 and a conductive filler slurry containing the conductive filler 4 to produce a mixed slurry; using a spray dryer method to spray and dry the mixed slurry and forming a granule comprising the inorganic particle and the conductive filler; and then firing the granule in an inert atmosphere at a temperature at which the granule exhibits higher crush strength than unfired granules.
