Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently producing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer excellent in mechanical properties, thermal aging resistance and thermal stability at the molding process.
This method for producing the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having (a) a melt index (MI) at 190°C and 2.16 kg load of 0.001 to 1,000 g/10 min, and (b) a density of ≤0.899 g/cm3, is obtained by copolymerizing ethylene with a 3-20C α-olefin using a catalyst comprising (A) a carrier substance, (B) a borate compound and (C) an organic transition metal compound.
