Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an extracted composition in which polyphenol of apigenin or the like and/or an essential oil component of spiroether or the like can be efficiently extracted from herbaceous plants after harvest.SOLUTION: A method for producing an extracted composition includes the following processes (1) and (2): (1) a process of applying oxidation stress to herbaceous plants after being harvested and storing the plants; and (2) a process of obtaining an extract from the herbaceous plants after process (1).SELECTED DRAWING: None
