Abstract:
To provide a method for producing fatty acid particulates that have excellent biodegradability and are suitable for skin care uses such as cosmetics, facial cleansers, body soaps.SOLUTION: In the presence of a polymer dispersant of 5-20 pts.wt. and a surfactant of 0.1-3 pts.wt., fatty acid of 100 pts.wt. is dispersed in water and precipitated, thus producing a fatty acid particulate dispersion. Under basic conditions, a solution containing a phosphate compound is added to the fatty acid particulate dispersion and a solution containing calcium ions, thus producing fatty acid particulates.SELECTED DRAWING: None
