To provide a method for highly efficiently and inexpensively producing ferronickel and ferrovanadium from petroleum base combustion ash including NiO, V2O5 and Fe2O3, individually.
The method comprises: a mixing stage S1 where petroleum base combustion ash including NiO, V2O5 and Fe2O3, a carbonaceous reducing agent and a slag forming agent are mixed so as to obtain a mixture; a ferronickel production stage S2 where the mixture is melted at 1,350 to 1,550°C so as to be a melt, and ferronickel is produced into the melt; a ferronickel separation stage S3 where the melt to which the ferronickel is flocculated is cooled, and is thereafter separated into the ferronickel and V2O5-containing slag; a ferrovanadium production stage S4 where the V2O5-containing slag and an iron source are mixed, the mixture is melted at ≥1,500°C, thereafter, a metal reducing agent is addded thereto so as to be a re-melted matter, and the ferrovanadium is produced in the re-melted matter; and a ferrovanadium separation stage S5 where the re-melted matter in which the ferrovanadium is produced is separated into the ferrovanadium and slag.
