Abstract:
To enhance handleability of a fiber assembly while maintaining the arrangement of fibers, in a fiber assembly comprising a plurality of fibers that are arrayed.SOLUTION: The method for producing a fiber assembly includes: a first attachment step for attaching a support sheet having flexibility so as to be wound on a first rotating body; an assembly forming step for forming a fiber assembly by arranging first fibers so as to go around on a first principal surface facing the outside of the support sheet; a first fixing step for forming a first fixed region by fixing a part of the fiber assembly on the support sheet along a rotational axis direction; a first cutting step for forming a pair of first cut ends by cutting the fiber assembly on the support sheet along the rotational axis direction; and a first removal step for removing the fiber assembly, by using the first cut ends, with the support sheet from the first rotating body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
