To provide a method for producing fiber-reinforced concrete which can reduce the amount of fibers to be incorporated to obtain an equivalent reinforcing effect in ultra-high strength concrete exhibiting compression strength of at least 150 MPa.
In the method, a composition containing at least cement, fine pozzolan powder, fine aggregate 2 mm or below in particle size, a water reducing agent, fibers, and water is cast in a form through a device having concrete discharge openings which are larger than the maximum particle size of the aggregate in the composition and the length of which does not exceed the twofold length of the fibers and cured. Preferably, the composition is added with inorganic powder 3-20 μm in average particle size and fibrous or flaky particles 1 mm or below in average particle size.
