Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive and simple method for forming a coating film of metal oxide having a uniform thickness on a fibrous material, a fibrous material uniformly coated with a metal oxide, a connective tissue restorative material having a surface structure directly binding to biological tissue, and a simple method for producing the connective tissue restorative material.

The method for producing the fibrous material coated with a metal oxide includes a step of absorbing a sol made of a metal alkoxide into a fibrous material, a step of retaining the fibrous material having absorbed the sol in which the solvent of the sol does not evaporate, a step of heat-treating the fibrous material, and a step of treating the fibrous material with an acid.
