Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing filter material which enables pleating processing which retains the pleated shape even when affected by the mechanical and/or thermal load and is provided with a spacer with high stability.
SOLUTION: This producing method is characterized as a textile web 1 which consists f orientated synthetic fibers and thermoplastic binder and/or thermally cross-linkable binder is heated at least at the softening temperature of the thermoplastic binder and/or the cross-linking temperature of the thermally cross-linkage binder in a furnace 2 and, subsequently, the textile web 1 is molded between calendar rollers 3 with grooves and then is cooled.
