To provide a method for producing a fine particle-fixed material by fixing fine particles having various functions on a resin substrate without damaging the functions of the fine particles and maintaining the functionality on the surface of the resin substrate even on using for a long period.
This method for producing a fine particle-fixed material obtained by bonding fine particles having various functions on the substrate surface by a chemical bonding of a silane coupling agent to the surface is provided by forming a thin film of the silane coupling agent having an unsaturated bond on the surface of the fine particles, bringing the resin of the substrate surface in contact with the thin film formed on the fine particle surface and chemically bonding the resin surface with the unsaturated bond presenting at the thin film by a graft-polymerization. As the graft-polymerization, it is preferable to use a radiation graft-polymerization.
