Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a fluorinated monomer useful as the raw material for a barrier membrane for a fuel battery under a low environmental load.
A fluorinated monomer expressed by the general formula (1): (wherein, (m) is 0 or 1; (n) is 2 or 3; Z is a radical selected from F, OM, OR1, NR2R3, NMSO2RF, and CMQSO2RF) is produced by dehalogenation reaction by electrochemical reaction of a compound expressed by the following general formula (2). (Wherein, X1 and X2 are radicals selected from Cl, Br and I).
