Abstract:
To provide novel methods for preparing fluorinated organic compounds, and particularly methods of producing fluorinated olefins.SOLUTION: A method for producing fluorinated organic compounds comprises converting at least one compound of Formula (I) defined by C(X)mCCl(Y)nC(X)m to at least one compound of Formula (II) defined by CF3CF=CHZ. In the formulas, each of X, Y and Z is independently H, F, Cl, I or Br; each m is independently 1, 2 or 3; and n is 0 or 1.SELECTED DRAWING: None
