Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a fluoropolymer capable of reducing the content of impurities. The present invention provides a method for producing a fluoropolymer, comprising polymerizing a fluoromonomer in an aqueous medium in the presence of a surfactant to provide a fluoropolymer, wherein the surfactant is a carboxylic acid type hydrocarbon-containing surfactant.
