To provide an industrial method for producing fluorosulfuric acid enol esters.
A carbonyl compound having a hydrogen atom on α-position is reacted with sulphuryl fluoride (SO2F2) in the presence of an acid, and thereby fluorosulfuric acid enol esters can be produced. Sulphuryl fluoride can be obtained easily in the scale of a large quantity because of being used widely as a fumigant, and is handleable safely. It has wide substrate applicability, since it can be applied suitably even to a carbonyl compound in which keto-enol equilibrium is inclined to a keto form. Further, a desired reaction can be performed efficiently by using a suitable base, and impurities which are difficult to be refined are hardly generated. Thus, this production method is extremely useful as an industrial method for producing fluorosulfuric acid enol esters.
