Abstract:
To provide a glaze-processed ceramic body.SOLUTION: A method of forming a glaze-processed ceramic body includes: (a) applying a glaze processing material to non-compact sintering base material; and (b) obtaining a glaze-processed body by subjecting the base material and the glaze processing material to heat processing in a temperature range from a first temperature T1 to a second temperature T2 higher than the first temperature, in which the glaze processing material has, at the temperature T1, viscosity higher than 102.5 Pa s, particularly higher than 104.0 Pa s, preferably higher than 105.6 Pa s, and especially preferably higher than 107.0 Pa s and, at the temperature T2, viscosity lower than 109 Pa s, particularly lower than 107 Pa s, and preferably lower than 105.6 Pa s. Also related is a use of the glaze processing material for glaze-processing non-compact sintering base material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
