Abstract:

To provide a method of producing glucosylglycerate by microorganisms.

This method of producing glucosylglycerate comprises: culturing glucosylglycerate-producing microorganisms belonging to Rhodobacteraceae in a culture medium including a utilizable carbon source; and generating glucosylglycerate in the culture medium.
