Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a graft polymerization polymer fiber capable of producing a polymer fiber excellent in a graft ratio by low dose of radioactive ray irradiation.

A graft polymerization polymer fiber is produced by graft-polymerizing a polymerizable monomer in an inert gas atmosphere or under reduced pressure after impregnating a polymer fiber base irradiated with radioactive rays in an inert gas atmosphere with a polymerizable monomer solution using alcohol as a polymerization solvent.
