Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a grain oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having uniform and flat surface, and excellent magnetic characteristic and also, an annealing separating agent for suitably obtaining the same.

In the method for producing the grain oriented electromagnetic steel sheet, with which a slab for grain oriented electromagnetic steel sheet is hot-rolled and if necessary, after performing an annealing to the hot-rolled plate, two or more times of cold-rolling containing one time of or process annealing, are applied, and after performing a primary recrystallization annealing or further, after performing a nitriding treatment, the annealing separating agent is applied and this sheet is wound in a coil-shape and a last finishing annealing is applied, the annealing separating agent containing 0.1 mass% to <10 mass% bromine compound in the dry state, is used.
