To provide a method for producing a heat storage capsule that has a higher amount of heat storage compared to conventional ones and excellent physical strength, and a capsule dispersion obtained by dispersing the capsules.
The method for producing a heat storage capsule includes the steps of: producing a capsule material by coating a heat storage material with a first resin wall membrane in oil and fat by an interfacial polymerization method; dispersing the capsule materials in an organic solvent phase containing a resin for a wall membrane containing at least one of an urethane monomer and an urethane prepolymer and a fluorine-based polymer having a hydroxy group; and producing a double capsule material by dispersing the organic solvent phase in which the capsule materials are dispersed in water and coating the surface of the first resin with a second resin wall membrane comprising the resin for a wall membrane by a drying method in liquid. The capsule dispersion is obtained by dispersing the heat storage capsules produced from the production method in a dispersing medium.
