Abstract:

To solve a problem of reaction temperature control when carrying out dimerization reaction of TFE in a tubular reactor and difficulty on operation of the reactor by formation of carbon and a solid polymer and provide a method for selectively producing C4F8 and CF2=CFCF3 at the same time by dimerization reaction of TFE.

The method for selectively producing C4F8 and CF2=CFCF3 at the same time comprises successively carrying out a step for producing TFE by pyrolyzing difluorochloromethane and feeding the TFE to the interior of a fluidized bed reactor in which a distributor for feeding steam is installed and a step for feeding steam to TFE stream fed to the interior of the fluidized bed reactor at 0.1-10 molar ratio of tetrafluoroethylene/steam and a step or carrying out dimerization reaction of TFE in the fluidized bed reactor.
