Abstract:

To improve an yield of a high-molecular compound having a cyano group.

In the method for producing the high-molecular compound, a high-molecular compound having structural units represented by formula (I) is reacted with a compound represented by formula (II) or another specific cyano group-containing unsaturated compound under microwave irradiation to form a modified compound of the high-molecular compound having the structural units represented by formula (I).
