Abstract:
To provide a technique for producing high-reactive, high-strength, and inexpensive coke.
A method of producing a high-reactive coke includes: drying an iron salt-containing coke obtained by making an iron-containing catalyst solution containing a pickling waste liquid of a steel material adhere to small and middle lump coke each having a particle size of 5 to 40 mm and then by performing impregnation; and thereafter burning the dried iron salt-containing coke under a non-oxygen atmosphere, thereby obtaining an iron-supported coke.
