Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high strength hot dip galvanized steel sheet by which excellent ductility can be imparted.
SOLUTION: In this method for producing a high strength hot dip galvanized steel sheet, steel having a composition containing, by mass, 0.01 to 0.3% C, ≤0.7% Si, 1 to 3% Mn, ≤0.08% P, ≤0.01% S, ≤0.08% sol.Al and ≤0.O07% N is hot-rolled at ≥Ar3 point, within 2.5 sec, the steel is cooled by rapid cooling at the average cooling rate of ≥100°C/sec to >500 to 700°C, is thereafter coiled and is subsequently pickled or is further cold-rolled, and, in continuous hot dip galvanizing equipment, annealing is performed at ≥720°C. Moreover, steel further containing one or more kinds selected from 0.005 to 0.5% Nb and Ti and 0.0002 to 0.005% B or one or more kinds selected from 0.01 to 1% V, Cr and Mo is used.
