To provide a method for producing a hose having excellent ozone resistance and causing few crack nevertheless molded by being inserted a mandrel and vulcanized.
The method for producing the hose comprises preparing a vulcanizable rubber composition comprising 100 pts. wt. nitryl-containing copolymer rubber (1), 10-150 pts. wt. acrylic resin (2) having a main structure unit comprising at least one monomer unit selected from methyl methacrylate unit and methyl acrylate unit and forming a particle having ≤10 μm average diameter, 5-85 pts. wt. ester compound (3) of a compound (a) represented by general formula 1: HOOCRCOOH (wherein, R is a 2-10C alkylene) with an alcohol (b) having an ether bond and 0.1-10 pts. wt. vulcanizer (4). The method comprises a molding process for molding the vulcanizable rubber composition into a cylinder, an inserting process for inserting a mandrel and fixing shape and a vulcanizing process for vulcanizing the shape-fixed vulcanizable rubber composition.
