To provide a method of producing a hydraulic molded article which can be suitably used for easily and efficiently producing the uniformly white hydraulic molded article excellent in appearance.

The method of producing the hydraulic molded article includes a kneading step of kneading a composition containing at least a hydraulic material containing a calcium compound and water to make a kneading matter, a molding step of molding the kneading matter, to make an uncured molded article, and a curing step of curing the uncured molded article, to make a cured molded article wherein a preliminary curing step of warming and humidifying the surface of the uncured molded article is carried out under the atmospheric condition before starting the curing step.
