Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hydride of an organic nitrile compound in supercritical carbon dioxide.SOLUTION: A hydride of an organic nitrile compound is produced by using supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO) during hydrogenation of an organic nitrile compound and using a Pd/MCM-41 catalyst or Rh/AlOcatalyst without using an additive, for example, hydrogenating benzonitrile into benzylamine in high selectivity (90.9%) and hydrogenating adiponitrile into 6-aminocapronitrile in a high conversion and in high selectivity (100% selectivity). Selectivity depends on the COpressure, for example, a primary amine is formed in a low pressure range by an action of COas a protective agent and yield of primary amine and solubility of imine intermediate in COare increased to improve selectivity of dibenzylamine.
