Abstract:

PURPOSE: To recover a hydrocarbon oil from a thermal cracking product obtained by the thermal cracking of waste plastic material, etc., in high quality and recovery rate of the recovered hydrocarbon oil without causing the problems such as the lowering of the function of catalyst acting on the thermal cracking product and the early evaporation of the oil.
CONSTITUTION: Waste plastic or rubber material is subjected to thermal cracking and the produced thermal cracking gas is liquefied to obtain a liquefaction product 35. The product 35 is treated with an acid catalyst 24 to effect a liquid- phase decomposition reaction. The decomposition product produced by the decomposition of the liquefaction product 35 is cooled to obtain a hydrocarbon oil 36 having low boiling point.
